How it Works
Players – 7-12 year olds
Played as a 9 hole competition over shortened courses, the qualifiers are designed to attract as many children as possible to come and participate. Where as the winners will qualify for Regional Finals.
Qualifying Events
Take place at local golf clubs throughout the UK with the top 2 players plus ties from each division qualifying for the Regional Finals.
Regional Finals
Take place at selected venues across the UK where the top 3 players plus ties from each division qualifying for the Faldo Futures Final.
Faldo Futures Final
Takes place at The Belfry with 144 players participating in the age and gender categories.

Qualifying Events
The 2024 Faldo Futures Qualifying Events reached more than 50 golf clubs and 1,000 participants throughout the UK during the Easter holidays. The top 2 winners and ties in each division earned an invitation to the Regional Finals, played at six selected venues across the UK.
All UK based golf clubs can host a qualifying competition, all you have to do is register your details.
Regional Finals
Approximately 365 players competed at six selected venues across the UK during the May half-term. The top 3 winners and ties in each division earned their invitation to participate at the Faldo Futures Final in August.
Faldo Futures Final
Hosted by Sir Nick, the Faldo Futures Final saw 144 of the UK’s most talented young golfers, aged 7 to 12, compete for the coveted title of Faldo Futures Champion. Played alongside the British Masters, the individual winners of each age division also received an invitation to compete at the 2025 IMG Junior World Finals hosted by Torrey Pines (South) in California, USA.
2025 Faldo Futures Qualifying Events
Who is it for
For All Boys and Girls between 7 – 12 years of age
Age Categories: 7- 8 Year Olds, 9 – 10 Year olds, 11 – 12 Year olds (separated Boys and Girls)
No handicap requirements!
Tournament Dates
- Qualifiers: Take place between Saturday 5th April - Monday 5th May 2025
- Regional Finals: During the May half-term, Saturday 24th May – Sunday 1st June 2025
- Faldo Futures Final: The week of the British Masters
Faldo Grant
We want all clubs and young players to participate. To facilitate this The Faldo Grant is available to those clubs or players who want to participate but financial constraints prevent this from being a possibility.
How To Apply: Draft an email detailing your application to series@nickfaldo.com. Please state the reason and how you would wish to use this grant.
All applications will be taken on their merits, and those successful in 2024 will be contacted with the level of assistance that can be offered.
