Located amidst the scenic beauty of the Montgó Natural Park in Spain, La Sella offers a challenging 27-hole course, perfect for showcasing the talent of young golfers.
The event featured fierce competition among some of Spain’s brightest young talents across various age categories, including overall winners and those in the boys’ and girls’ divisions. In a standout performance, Gonzalo Cuellar Gago claimed the overall title with an impressive score of -1 (215) in the junior boys’ category. Gonzalo’s consistent play, highlighted by rounds of +1, -5, and +3, secured his victory in this prestigious tournament.
In the Boys U16 division, Marc Quintana Garcia emerged victorious with a score of +7 (223). His solid rounds of +2, +2, and +3 demonstrated his skill and composure under pressure. Teddy Hobbs finished in second place with a score of +14 (230), while Julio Perez Gomez rounded out the top three with a score of +21 (237).
In the Girls U16 category, Carlota Lopez Minguela showcased her talent, winning with a score of +14 (230). Her rounds of +6, +3, and +5 highlighted her consistent play throughout the tournament. Africa Oliva Cardell followed closely in second place with a score of +25 (241), while Beatriz Sueiro Nieves secured third with +38 (254).
The Boys U21 division saw fierce competition, with Martin Saquicoray Pozuelo finishing as the runner-up with a score of +5 (221), closely followed by Alexander Company Ruiz, who also finished at +5 (221). In the Girls U21 category, Lucia Valderrama Martinez topped the leaderboard with a score of +24 (240), demonstrating her skill and determination throughout the tournament. Ainhoa Jauregi Palomares finished in second place with +41 (257).
