Empowering Young Golfers Worldwide
The Faldo Virtual Series is an innovative global junior golf competition played on Trackman simulators worldwide from January-March 2025. Anyone aged 7-21 can take part.
The series is pioneered by legendary golf figure Sir Nick Faldo and supported by the Faldo Series organization and the leading golf technology firm, Trackman. The initiative combines Sir Nick’s vision for fostering young talent with Trackman’s cutting-edge simulators to create a unique and inclusive golfing experience.
The Faldo Virtual Series aims to make golf accessible to a broader audience of young players, eliminating barriers like location or resources. Through virtual competition, it seeks to inspire and nurture future golfing champions while expanding the sport’s reach globally.
The Faldo Virtual Series will be played by golfers aged 7-21 on Trackman simulators worldwide. The series includes three month-long tournaments stretching across January, February and March 2025. Boys and Girls will compete in their own age and gender categories.
The series is powered by Trackman’s Virtual Golf (VG) technology, which provides ultra-realistic course simulations and performance tracking. Players tee off on digital versions of iconic courses, with precise ball flight physics and conditions that replicate real-world gameplay.
Players participate at any of the 25,000+ Trackman simulators worldwide.

It costs $10 per player to enter each monthly tournament. So, to play all three tournaments (January-March), it would be $30 in total.
When you pay the $10 fee to enter the monthly tournament, you can play as many rounds as you want within the tournament’s allotted time frame, with your best score appearing on the leaderboard.
Tournament 1 of the Faldo Virtual Series starts on January 1 (00:00 Central European Time) and ends on January 31 (23:59 Central European Time). Tournament 2 starts on February 1 and ends on February 28, while Tournament 3 starts on March 1 and ends on March 31.
In the event of a tie, the leaderboard will automatically use the rules below to determine player position:
In the event of multiple hole-in-ones on the same hole, we will draw a winner amongst the players. If two or more players are listed on the leaderboard with the same distance to pin, please bear in mind that your ranking is based on a ten-digit number, and that’s why you might be placed below your competitor with the same distance to pin.
If you have made a hole-in-one in your first round, but chose to use your second attempt, your hole-in-one in your first round will in this case not count.
All players in all simulators – around the world – experience the same tee and pin position. The ball must be on green in your first shot to count towards the Closest to the pin leaderboard.
When you compete in this tournament it’s very important for us that everyone has fun and competes with good intentions. Therefore, no forms of cheating or gaining an unfair advantage in any way will be tolerated. Trackman reserves the right to disqualify players if there is a suspicion regarding cheating in general or anyone assumed to be breaking the official rules. This includes but is not limited to impersonation (including playing under another player’s Trackman account). Additionally, you are only allowed to create and use one account while participating in the Faldo Virtual Series. Trackman reserves the right to disqualify any players that have participated with multiple accounts. All scores will be tracked, and we encourage you to win with grace and lose with dignity.
